It may seem a bit late to declare my new year goals in February, but trust me, I’ve been working on this behind the scenes for awhile. Goal setting in my business is a constant process, not something I do just at the beginning of a new year – as it should be.
I have two main goals that I want to want to work on and by documenting my goals here, I’m inviting you to help me be accountable.
Goal #1: Blogging
I’ve been busy working with clients and haven’t made time to blog. This is changing! There are several topics I plan on blogging about, starting with the different services I offer, products I love and tools I use.
For example: I recently bought Backup Buddy for my WordPress – I’ll be sure to come let you know what I think about it when I’ve had a chance to see it in action for awhile.
My goal is to post something new to the blog every week – so keep an eye out!
Goal #2: My First Info Product
Why do I want to offer an info product? I’m a Virtual Assistant after all – do VA’s sell info products? Well, not many – but I want to build in new streams of income and I have expertise that others are very interested in learning about.
For example: I’ve gained a lot of experience with webinars using GoToWebinar. I know the process of setting up and running a webinar like the back of my hand. I’ve actually trained quite a few people to do it – and I enjoy that. But not everyone can afford to hire me to work with them one on one. So I realized I could and should document my teachings and decided to create a product around that.
I’ll be working on it every week over the next month or so – hopefully I can keep up with it along with my blogging goal.
Starting out with these two main goals is a big deal for me. I’ll be having a party if I can get both of these goals accomplished. Stay tuned for updates!
